1. The Challenge

Insurance operations in Sudan are hindered by fragmented workflows, paper-heavy processes, and limited digitization. Tadmeen approached ADSI with a bold goal: to design a modular, AI-powered insurance platform tailored to Sudan’s unique operational realities—one that could evolve from the legacy of single-purpose systems into a comprehensive solution for the full insurance lifecycle.

The brief:

“We want a full-suite insurance OS—built in Sudan, for Sudan—that simplifies operations, automates claims, and integrates risk management.”

2. Context

The founder of TadmeenPro previously co-developed T2meen, which became the nationally adopted system for third-party motor insurance in Sudan. With that groundwork in place, TadmeenPro set out to solve deeper problems—spanning:

  • Claims management

  • Commissions and agent tracking

  • Reinsurance workflows

  • Audit and finance integration

  • Customer lifecycle handling

  • AI-powered document and risk analysis

3. ADSI’s Approach

We structured the design and development process around four pillars:

System Mapping & Architecture

  • Designed a modular schema interconnecting all insurance functions.

  • Introduced risk-based workflows and real-time status logic.

  • Built structured relationships between customer data, claims, commissions, reinsurance, and audit.

User Experience Design

  • Developed multi-role dashboards with tailored access logic.

  • Prioritized clarity, hierarchy, and regional usability, especially under low bandwidth conditions.

AI & Automation Strategy

  • Integrated a fallback AI engine chain (Groq, OpenAI, etc.) for tasks like document parsing and claims triage.

  • Allowed admin toggles for automated vs. manual review steps across the platform.

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Defined TadmeenPro’s brand voice as precise, region-aware, and quietly ambitious.

  • Created pitch materials and GTM assets focused on clarity and credibility.

4. Design Solutions

Delivered outputs included:

  • A Supabase-backed architecture interlinking over ten insurance modules

  • Frontend UI tailored for web responsiveness and mobile compatibility

  • Role-based dashboards with embedded analytics and activity logs

  • A simplified, visual claims intake process with integrated AI review

  • Full investor and demo setup: pitch deck, explainer visuals, Gust profile, and trial login

5. Outcomes

  • Operational Readiness: The platform was designed to be deployed in under a week for new insurers.

  • Workflow Efficiency: Early-stage simulations showed significant reductions in manual claim handling.

  • Investor Preparedness: TadmeenPro materials are currently being used in accelerator applications and VC outreach.

  • Strategic Differentiation: Unlike most imported platforms, TadmeenPro is grounded in regional workflows and local language usage, making adoption smoother.

6. Reflections

TadmeenPro represents a shift in how digital infrastructure can be imagined in under-served markets—not by retrofitting global tools, but by designing with local constraints and ambitions in mind. ADSI’s role was to translate those ambitions into a system that is modular, intelligent, and scalable without being bloated.

Insurance is not just financial—it’s infrastructural. Our role was to help design a foundation, not just a product.
